Puial de l Douro features an outdoor saltwater swimming pool with sun loungers, umbrellas and a wide lawn, open in warmer months and framed by granite walls and old olive trees. A daily breakfast buffet is served with homemade and regional products, including fresh bread, artisanal jams, local fruit and cheeses.
The house offers free private parking, free WiFi in all common areas, heating, air conditioning, a shared lounge with fireplace, a library dedicated to the Mirandese language, a games room and a family dining area. Outside you will find covered terraces, garden furniture, a picnic area, barbecue, outdoor dining area and quiet green corners.
For guests with reduced mobility there are accessible rooms, a bathroom with grab rails, lowered entry and parking close to the door. Bicycles are offered free of charge and, on request, guests can join donkey rides, bird watching, agricultural activities, guided visits through the region and Mirandese language workshops. There is also a small winery where you can taste wine produced by the owner.
Additional services include room service, private check-in reception, luggage storage, invoicing, high chair, crib on request, board games, books and music for children, ironing and laundry. The whole property is non-smoking, with smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, fire extinguishers and a designated smoking area outdoors.
